For our client, an innovative leader in the Solar Industry, we are currently recruiting a Country Manager Netherlands.

The position

In this role you will oversee the strategic direction, growth and overall performance in the Netherlands. Together with the companies C-level you will determine the business strategy, expand the market presence and expand the local team, drive further revenue growth and build strong relations with key stakeholders in the local markets.

Other responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement the strategy for the Dutch (renewable energy) market;
• P&L responsible and overall management of the Dutch organization;
• Drive organisational growth and develop a winning culture;
• Set strategic milestones and implement tactical plans to lead the delivery of high-performance across the organisation;
• Lead by example, build strong partnerships, lead business development projects and inspire internal- and external stakeholders;
• Analyse and qualify new market opportunities, control costs and the delivery of key projects;
• Oversee daily operations and ensuring compliance with local regulations
• Recruit, train and coach a high performing team;
• Act as spokesperson and key-sparring partner towards governmental organisations, utility leaders, energy cooperatives and large buyers.

Your profile

• Minimum of 7 years work experience in a leadership role combined with strong knowledge of the Energy and/or Solar market in the Netherlands;
• Passionate and energetic leader with a track record in general and/or commercial management;
• Team player with strong people management skills; positive, enthusiastic and has an affinity for problem solving;
• Experience in a growing and entrepreneurial environment is an advantage;
• Excellent communication skills with a fluency in Dutch and English and knowledge of the local Dutch Energy and/or Solar regulations.
