Head of People & Culture


As Head of People and Culture you will be the backbone of what drives our fast international growing company the most: people! You will work closely with our Founders and with our many department leads. You will be responsible for the Team that supports our most valuable asset: the amazing people and the unique culture. Using your expertise and experience to innovate and improve, you will revolutionize how we keep our team together as family and embed processes which ensure that we continue to strive to be the best place to work and be able to scale further at the same time.


  • Use your expertise and experience to structurally discover and develop new opportunities for improvement and process automation
  • Implement structured plans contributing to the company’s future growth by focussing on clear objectives
  • Work closely with every team member of the People and Culture department and have a close connection to the business and founders
  • Improve the full employee experience (recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, learning, development and overall happiness)
  • Managing and increasing efficiency in the company wide communication processes and playing a key role in overall teambuilding and development
  • Improving the processes and policies in support of the growth, management and retention of all uButlers team
  • Take ownership of challenges and innovation and bring things from zero to one.


  • You have 5+ years of professional work experience in People and Culture
  • You are able to work in a team environment and independently
  • You have the ability to work with data and targets but never forget the human aspect
  • You understand that you will work with sensitive information and handle this with integrity and trust
  • You fit in at a rapidly growing, largely informal, modern organisation, with a motivated and driven team, and can handle a significant amount of responsibility and have the ability to think along and outside of the box
  • You are ambitious, immensely excited about our service, and have an internal drive to contribute to the company’s success
  • You have strong leadership skills and enjoy mentoring others on the job and bring a positive attitude and energy into the workplace and inspiring others
  • You have a strong ability to prioritise effectively, juggle multiple urgent tasks at once you love being busy with meaningful work!
  • You are fluent in English (bonus points if you also speak Dutch)
  • You live in Amsterdam or surrounding areas
