For a growing, international multisided platform company (100FTE+), which has been successful in engaging customers, whilst focussing on sustainable- and cost effective solutions for over 10 years, we are currently recruiting a Chief Product Officer in the Netherlands.

Their cloud-based platform plays a central role in the strategy and in the coming years it should further grow towards an more product based environment that facilitates a smooth journey for consumers help them realise the energy transition in their personal lives. As CPO you will set and execute the product management development vision, define the overall roadmap including the scalable technical strategy and ensure that the organisation recognizes and rewards outstanding product development efforts.

You are a skilled leader with vast understanding of and experience in product management and the software development process. You have a commercial mindset and ability to build relationships and credibility with the business, development and external stakeholders. Together with your professional and enthusiastic teams you are able to move things forward and implement change if needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Establish, maintain and improve vision and strategy for the different product- and country business lines;
• Responsible for the commercial success and successful execution of the product strategy;
• Responsible for continuous surveillance of competitors and market trends;
• Own and constantly evolve the product roadmaps from research to release including design, impact, feasibility, requirements, developing, launch, product performance and expansion;
• Ensure infrastructure to facilitate product development (tools, methodology, architecture and technology, security, maturity measurements, product metrics, APIs and UX);
• Ensure proper develops methods to the product development teams.

Your profile:

• You’re a strong leader with a strategic mindset and excellent stakeholder management skills;
• You have a track record in successfully leading cross functional product (development) teams and with the management of IT based products and/or platforms in an agile environment;
• You have a good understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, customer requirements and you’re outcome focused;
• You are a social person and have excellent communication skills with a systematic and well-organized way of working;
• You are motivated to find solutions to problems and challenges together with your colleagues;
• You can clearly define priorities, plans, and have the ability to act quickly when required;
