We are looking for a Business Controller for one of our growing clients in Utrecht in the sustainable energy sector.
The position
Together with the Finance manager you will ensure the finance management of the international activities are being handled correctly and the core workflows are being improved where needed. Your main responsibility will be handling the incoming invoices of the various European subsidiaries and you will ensure the incoming invoices are being processed correctly. You will be the first point of contact for all invoice and payment related questions including the authorization flows.
You will work closely together with your internal colleagues as well as the external partners such as the accountants to ensure the proper workflows and timely payments. Additionally, you will be actively involved in controlling activities such as forecasting, budgeting and reporting. You will be challenged to participate in various finance-related projects, to further develop your own competencies and skills. The company and team will provide the necessary guidance and support where needed, so you can grow into your role as the right-hand of the Finance Manager.
Your profile
- You have got relevant work experience in a finance department;
- You are eager to learn and you want to further develop and improve yourself;
- You are detail-orientated, self-starting and want to bring new projects to a success;
- You can keep a good overview, work independently where needed and dare to address
- questions to your colleagues;
- You have an excellent command of the English language; Dutch is not mandatory;
