We are looking for a Business Development Analyst for one of our growing clients in Utrecht in the sustainable energy sector.
The role
As a Business Development Analyst, you develop and validate investable business cases and translate complex energy solutions into clear proposals. You combine technical insights with commercial strategies and work closely with sales teams across Europe.
You will support sales teams across countries by developing customer-specific business cases to secure deals. You will also collaborate with internal teams to finalize new agreements. Additionally, you will create and validate business cases using analytical models to drive customer growth strategies. We are looking for someone with knowledge of and experience in local energy optimization and energy trading.
Who are you?
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in business development within the sustainable energy sector
- In-depth understanding of the various aspects (IT, financial, legal) of European energy markets and energy flexibility;
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful business cases and commercial strategies;
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to convert data into actionable insights;
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach.
